Texas — Felt-sponsored triathlete Terenzo Bozzone scored his biggest win of the 2010 season, beating a stacked men’s field to take the title at Sunday’s Memorial Herrman Ironman 70.3 Texas in Galveston. As the inaugural U.S. Pro Ironman 70.3 Championship, the event featured many of the sport's top stars.
Bozzone, a New Zealand native who started riding Felt at the beginning of the season, put in a strong ride on his Felt DA and then surged past T2 leader Chris Lieto in the run. He erased a 2:40 deficit to Lieto and then had to fight off a strong run by Tyler Butterfield to take the victory. O’Donnell finished second, 29 seconds behind Bozzone. Lieto finished third and Andy Potts was fourth on the day.
