Felt and Garmin-Slipstream storm Missouri!

Sunday, September 6, 2009
The Garmin-Slipstream team and Felt Bicycles will be in full force at the seven-day Tour of Missouri Stage Race starting Monday in St. Louis. With two strong contenders—defending Tour of Missouri champion Christian Vande Velde (pictured) and recently crowned U.S. Time Trial Champion David Zabriskie —the Argyle Armada promises to be a big factor in the race from St. Louis to Kansas City.

For the first time ever, this year’s race travels east to west, which means the hillier terrain comes earlier in the seven-day race. With a host of international stars and all the best U.S. pros on the start list, the Tour of Missouri boasts the deepest field at an American stage race since the Amgen Tour of California last February.

The action kicks off Monday, September 7, with a fast, flat circuit race in downtown St. Louis. The Labor Day festival will include a host of entertaining events such as amateur races and an expo. If you’re in St. Louis, come to the Felt booth and be one of the first to see highlights of Felt’s 2010 product line.

The Felt booth will be showing off the highly anticipated 2010 Felt Z2, engineered with Felt’s Ultra High Modulus carbon fiber frame and featuring Shimano’s game-changing Dura-Ace Di2 electronic drivetrain for the incredible price of just $5,999. Other 2010 models that will be on display include the AR3 aerodynamic road bike, the ZW6 women’s road bike, the F5 road bike, B14 time trial bike and the Brougham, Felt’s hot new fixie.
