Wednesday, October 21, 2009
The Felt Ötztal X-Bionic World Cup mountain bike team, announced last month at the Eurobike trade show, has revealed its first rider signing. The team announced on Wednesday that French talent Sabrina Enaux has signed a three-year contract with the team.

Enaux, 31, has been a consistent contender in World Cup cross-country racing and she finished in the top 10 at both World Championships and the European Championships in 2008. Enaux, who is focused on the 2012 Olympic Games in London, also won the German Bundesliga series in 2008 and finished second at the French National Championship.

Beyond cross-country racing, Enaux is an accomplished multi-sport competitor and is focusing on the Xterra events. She finished third at an Xterra World Cup in France and is currently in Hawaii for the Xterra World Championships, where she will race her new Felt mountain bike for the first time.

“Sabrina is an athlete with high potential,” said Jörg Scheiderbauer, director of Scheiderbauer Sports GmbH. “With the professional working environment of the Felt Ötztal X-Bionic World Cup team, we can expect a lot from her in the future. She is able to be among the Top-10 in Olympic and World Cup cross country.”
