Kittel Wins Again in Oman!

Saturday, February 18, 2012
OmanProject 1t4i sprinter Marcel Kittel scored his second stage win at the Tour of Oman, winning Sunday's finale with another powerful sprint. For the second time this week the young German upstaged some of the world’s top sprinters, powering his Felt F1 team bike to a confident win at Matrah Corniche.

“We know now that we can sprint against the top sprinters, as a team too, by staying in front and doing a really good lead-out,” Kittel told Cyclingnews.com after the win.

Just like with the previous win, in Stage 3, Kittel’s Project 1t4i teammates chased down the break and set him up for the win. He took care of the rest, beating names like Tyler Farrar, Tom Boonen and Mark Cavendish to the line.

With two stage wins already in February, Kittel and his teammates will roll into the big races coming soon in Europe with plenty of momentum. Stay tuned and watch the show!
