Carson, California —Felt-sponsored Paralympic athlete Greta Neimanas stormed her way to three medals at the 2012 Paracycling Track World Championships this week at the Home Depot Center near Los Angeles. The American took home two silvers and a gold, which turned out to be the lone victory for the USA squad at this year's event.
The highlight of Neimanas’s week was a win in the scratch race, a first time event for the Paracycling Worlds.
“I am very happy that my name will be the first to go down in the history of the Worlds for the scratch race, but above all I’m happy to finally hear my country’s national anthem,” said Neimanas, whose win came on the final day of competition. “It really is amazing.”
