Three Major Stage Races at Once!

Friday, February 13, 2009
So much going on right now!

In the old days, February meant pro cyclists were still gearing up with camps, 'cross, track racing and regiional events as they prepared for the spring classics.  Not anymore.  Today, February means the Felt supported Garmin/Slipstream Pro Cycling Team is competing in three major stage races on three different continents - The Amgen Tour of California (Feb 14-22), The Tour de Langkawi (Feb 9-15) and the Mediterranean Tour (Feb 11-15).  We'll do our best to keep you updated on each right here.  The snapshot today looks like:

California  - Today is the prologue.  3.9K all out.  Anything can happen, but a lot of buzz surrounding our own Tyler Farrar.
Langkawi - Chris Sutton riding particularly well with two 2nd's and a 3rd, even after a big-time crash in Stage 4.  Lucas Euser is sitting 8th in the overall GC.

Mediterranean - A 2nd in the TTT (shown) with Dan Martin and Danny Pate now 4th and 5th overall and Martin leading the Best Young Rider' competition!

Stay tuned here or at Slipstream Sports for more as it happens!
