The 2015 AR Series continues to be the world’s leader. Designed and developed using CFD software, and in the wind tunnel, this aero road bike is up to 31% faster than typical round tube road frames. Constructed from Felt Aero Road UHC Ultimate + TeXtreme® carbon fiber and using MMC with InsideOut construction the AR FRD framset is competition ready.

1. Vibration Reduction (VR) Seatpost

Vibration Reduction seatpost provides excellent shock absorption with the help of 3T’s DiffLock™ comfort module.

2. Variable Geometry Optimized (VGO)

AR’s geometry was designed so the seatpost can be inserted in a forward and rearward position, changing the geometry from road to TT/triathlon without sacrificing aerodynamics.

3. Optimal Wiring Entry

Electronic Routing is designed into the frame, not an afterthought.

4. InternaLoc Seatpost Binder

Saddle height adjustments that won’t damage frame or seatpost. Clamps securely without compression of entire post and frame.

5. Twin Tail Seatstays

Seatstay assembly without conventional brake bridge that improves aerodynamics, reduces weight, contributes to the Gap Shield Rear Triangle and improves ride quality.

6. Patented Gap Shield Rear Triangle

Integration of rotating wheel aerodynamics into design of chainstay and seat tube reduces drag in the rear triangle.

7. Constant Aspect Airfoil Shapes

Frame airfoil shapes optimized for a specific range of speed and yaw angles to reduce drag across the entire performance envelope.

8. Twin Tail Fork Crown

Fork crown design improves aerodynamic transition from fork to down tube and improves ride quality by dispersing road shock over larger surface area.

9. Chainstay Mounted Rear Brake

7. Cloak Seatstays

Near-horizontal seatstay design improves aerodynamics by reducing wind drag. The design also improves comfort with its leaf-spring effect and boosts lateral stiffness with its small rear triangle surface area.

8. BatPac

Internal storage for electronic battery and also provides access to bottom bracket area for easy cable routing.

9. Integrated Rear Brake
