 ...was 10th last weekend in Italy at the Granfondo Costa degli Etruschi, the second round of the circuit "Marathon Tour 2008".
Starting slowly Alberati has reached the pursuers of the head of the
train after 1 hour 51' at the Casetta del Campo Sasso,
being followed by Mario Alberto Rojas Rojas (12th). Rojas will also be
in Beijing this year starting for Colombia.
Next Sunday (May 11th) - the FELT MTB Team (ITA) will start at the
"Conca d'Oro Bike" - the third round of the "Marathon Tour". |

 Will Frischkorn: "Day 2 up here was more of a nice long group ride, punctuated by 20 km of attacking at the start and 20 km of video game-esque hauling a– to the finish. The last 20 km in particular was one of those bits of racing where there was just the right setup for a massive stack (fresh-legged field, fast roads with “road furniture” everywhere, and just a touch of wind). Yet, somehow it was avoided." |

 ...and is heading off to Palermo today.
Here is the Squad (subject to change) starting this weekend:
Magnus Backstedt, Julian Dean, Ryder Hesjedal, David Millar, Danny Pate, Christian Vande Velde, Dave Zabriskie, Pat McCarty, Lucas Euser, Chris Sutton
With the TTT specialists David, Dave and Ryder starting on saturday, the team has best chances for a successful opening stage.

 The Slipstream Team is training these days in Gerona, Spain with support of Adrie can Diemen (Sports Physiologist MSc) and Allan Lim.
Great expectations lay on the Team especially for the first stage of the Giro: a 23 k Team Time Trial in Palermo.
The big question is:
"How can you make fast guys go faster?"
