If you’re in the market for a track bike, you already know the TK2’s
intended purpose: To take your relationship with the pole line to the
next level.
Track racing has been around for well over a century and is one of
the most exciting and dynamic disciplines in the entire sport of
cycling. It’s predominantly about riding solo, with your number one
competitor being the clock. Brakeless, and with a single fixed gear,
its breed is often used as a tool for honing strength, stamina and
technique. The TK2 reciprocates with all the benefits of a professional
level machine.
Weighing in at a featherlight 15.7 lbs (56cm) and featuring semiaerodynamic
tubing and a rear wheel cutout, the TK2 is built for
unbridled speed. The oversized and bi-ovalized downtube delivers
remarkable stiffness at the bottom bracket. For 2008 the TK2 is
upgraded with an all-new horizontal dropout design featuring stainless
steel inserts to minimize wear under repeated wheel adjustments,
as well as redesigned oversize chainstays for even greater
power transfer. Smooth welding has been utilized to further refine the
finish of this racing machine.
Put the TK2 into a sprint and feel the unwavering acceleration for
yourself. Geared for both concrete and wood, outfitted for short
tracks and long, the TK2 helps you maintain your confidence in a
quick flick up the track and through the corners.
The TK2 is the bike of choice for World Champion Sarah Hammer,
Pan Am Gold Medalist Brad Huff, as well as the world-class indoor
velodrome ADT event center at The Home Depot Center.
