(Vendee Region, Herbiers, France) –

Felt athlete Alison Tetrick of Solvang, California took second place in the Chrono des Nations time trial on Sunday, October 21 in the west coast Vendee region of France at Les Herbiers.

Aboard her Felt DA, Alison flew over the 20K course with an average speed of 25.1 MPH in rolling, windy conditions. She was second only to Amber Neben who repeated her victory from 2011.

Alison is a lifelong athlete and former NCAA tennis player. She credits her grandfather, Paul Tetrick, a winner of 12 U.S. National Cycling Championships, with inspiration along with the rest of her family. This was her last formal road race of the year as she gets ready to take time off coupled with a bit of ‘cross racing aboard her new Felt F1X.

The Chrono des Nations in Herbiers, France is a significant time trial event on the world schedule since it merges the former Grand Prix des Nations, made famous by 10 time winner Jacques Anquetil, and the Chrono des Herbiers into a single event since 2006. It has become one of the most significant single day time trial events in the world.
