(Alanya, Turkey) – Marcel Kittel continues to separate himself as one the world’s fastest finishers as he delivered a blistering Stage 1 win in the Presidential Tour of Turkey aboard his Felt F-Series FRD. Assuming nobody was able to sneak off, the 126K stage was expected to come down to sprint finish and from 3K out the Argos-Shimano team did everything right in putting Marcel into a position to win. Coming around with 200M to go he went on to finish 2(+) bike lengths ahead of Andre Greipel and the group. It was Marcel’s fourth win the year and for the mens team, their fifth. The UCI 2.HC stage race runs through April 28.
