Baranoski Wins Fourth Title of 2013 US Track Nationals; Felt Athletes Pick-up Five More Titles

Rock Hill, SCMatt Baranoski (above) continued his dominance over the 2013 USA Track Cycling National Championships as he won both the Keirin and Sprints last weekend. The 21yr-old Matt, who’d collected victories in both the Kilometer and Team Sprint (with Kevin Mansker and Nate Koch) two weeks ago, proved he is clearly currently the fastest man in the US.

Fellow Felt athletes who also collected Stars-and-Stripes jerseys included TeamEXERGY16’s Cari Higgins who took top honors in the Women’s Points Race and, teamed with Tela Crane, also grabbed the Madison title. For Cari this was her third National title this year having won the Omnium two weeks prior. Cari’s teammate Jennifer Valente won the Women’s Scratch Race after some exceptional teamwork in top of her already strong, crafty racing.

Finally, Jacob Duehring, who won his first National Championship last week in the Team Pursuit, picked a silver in the Men’s Madison competition along with teammate for the event, Zachary Kovalcik.

All Felt athletes race the World Championship and Olympic Game proven TK1.
